Welcome to Serenity Counseling of Huntsville and to your first step toward a more peaceful and fulfilled life. My name is Stacie Scherer and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor who has been practicing in the state of Alabama for over 15 years. Serenity Counseling of Huntsville has been a dream of mine for many years and I am proud to serve the Huntsville community and its surrounding areas. Therapy is a collaborative process, and finding a good fit is important!


Over the years, I’ve found I am specifically drawn to working with women’s issues and with family members who are caregiving for aging parent(s). While these areas are by no means a limit to my counseling experience, I have developed a special connection to these challenges.

If you struggle with one of these areas, please reach out. I offer individual counseling for women 40 and over and support and education for individuals facing the caregiving challenges of aging parents or grandparents.


Due to COVID-19, and the importance of supporting healthy and safe practices, sessions can be offered via telehealth video sessions so clients can receive services from the safety of their homes.

Directions:


Enter the front door of 221 Eastside Square & up the inside stairs to the next level. Serenity Counseling is on your left in Suite 3B (with DownHome Real Estate). There is no elevator access in this building.


 


Downtown Parking:


If you are not familiar with downtown, parking can be a challenge. Please allow yourself time prior to your appointment to find parking. Parking directly on the square is first come first serve with limited spaces available. Metered parking is available in lot directly behind the building. This lot is accessible from Eustis Avenue (Southside Square) & sits to your left on the corner or Eustis Ave & Greene St, across from Nativity Church. The middle of the lot is a metered area & will require payment at the central kiosk (cash or card). Pay by plate is also available by downloading the Passport App.
